We got an inside look at what it’s like on the first day for new freshman, known as “Plebes,” at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Induction Day, or “I-Day,” marks the beginning of “Plebe Summer,” a challenging six-week basic training program all future midshipmen are required to complete.

UPDATE: In the video, we list Cmdr. Beth Regoli’s title as the Commandant of Midshipmen. However, her correct title is Officer in Charge of Plebe Summer. We regret the error.
